This is a great looking Beetle, in really nice condition. Note the indicators positioned on the front fenders - a typical pre-75 feature
Its hot in Crete - hence the windscreen cover
The 1302 had 43% extra luggage space but was just 2 inches longer and 1.4 inches wider
Note the arched tail light housing - these changed to a larger round design in 1973
Beetles with an the L (Luxus) package had a range of upgraded internal features: ashtrays, carpets, pockets etc

A nicely restored example of an early 1970s Beetle, currently residing in the sunshine of the island of Crete. The 1302 was a slightly larger Beetle, offering significant extra luggage capacity, but being only 2 inches greater in length. In the USA the 1302L was marketed as the Super Beetle.
