Like many other 1960s Triumphs, the Triumph 2000 was styled by Giovanni Michelotti - who also worked on the TR3, TR4, Vitesse and numerous other models. It was produced in the United Kingdom (at the well-known Triumph plant in Coventry) between 1963–1969 (mk1) and 1969-1977 (mk2), with further production in Belgium, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
