The Ford Capri mk III was launched in 1978, with the 2.8 injection model added in 1982. This gorgeous example is in Ford Diamond White with tinted windows. Note the bodyside tape stripe, and 'injection' in deep red.
The Consul Capri was a two door coupé version of the Ford Consul Classic. It was available from late 1961 (export only) and from early 1962 for the UK market. Production was short, ending in mid-1964, with somrthing over 19,000 built in this time. Bodies were made by Pressed Steel, and assembled at the Ford plant in Dagenham (later Halewood), initially with a 1340cc engine (though this car has been upgraded to 1500cc). This is a fairly early example, registered in May 1962 - but it's a great looking car in lovely condition!
A now increasingly-rare Ford Cortina MK IV - 2.0 litre GL in Oyster Gold finish. The Mark IV was produced at the UK's Dagenham plant between late 1976 and 1979. An equivalent European model, the Ford Taunus TC2 was launched on the continent in early 1976.
The Ford Cortina was launched in the UK in 1967, with the mk II appearing in late 1966. A variety of different variants were built at the Ford plant in Dagenham, Essex. This example, the Cortina Super is a four door saloon car, with 1500cc petrol engine. The Cortina, was Britain's best-selling car of 1967.
The Ford Crestline was available between 1952 and 1954, and available as a 2-door convertible, hardtop, or 4-door station wagon, or, as shown here sedan. This beautiful example was first registered in July 1954. 3.5L petrol engine.
Good looking 1979 Ford Escort mk2 - this is the 1598cc Ghia 4-door saloon, and in pretty nice shape. First registered in Jun '79. UK Ford Escort production ceased in August 1980.
This is a beautiful example of a Ford Escort mark 1, photographed in Copenhagen, Denmark. Despite the 'GB' sticker, and the United Kingdom numberplate, this car is a left hand drive, so manufactured in Genk, Belgium. It's certainly been around! Several different engine sizes were available, 1100cc and 1300cc being the most common, but a 940cc equipped vehicle (as is the case here) was produced primarily for the French and Italian markets. The mark 1 Escort was available from 1968 - this early example was first registered in January 1970.
Very cool early Ford Escort mk1 De Luxe. This one was first registered in November 1968. Great looking car!
Beautifully restored two-door mark 1 Ford Escort from 1970. First registered in February '70, this example precedes the release of the Ford Escort Mexico (November '70) but it looks pretty fine in its Mexico paint job, which only accentuates the "coke bottle" body style and "dogbone" front grille. Nice car!

Nice mark 2 Ford Escort registered as 1593 cc (though says 1.8 on the back) in Febraury 1978. Good looking car!
Very nice mark 2 two-door Ford Escort RS2000. The high performance RS2000 had a 2 litre Pinto engine.
The Ford Escort mark 1 RS2000 was available between 1972 and 74. 2-door saloon fully race ready (#32), but taking a break at Silverstone race course. These mk1 Ford Escorts always look great in a two-tone paintjob, and this is no exception. Wonderful!
Now this is a stunner! Gorgeous Ford Escort mk1 RS2000 in orange/yellow two-tone rally finish. Certainly looks the part! This example was registered in March 1974, so one of the last Escort mark1s before the mark2 arrived later that year. 1993cc
Ford Fairlane production started in 1955, with seven major variants available right through to 1970. The second generation Ford Fairlane was produced between 1957 and 1959. This lovely Fairlane 500 two door sedan was first registered in December 1959. Although built for the USA, this left hand drive vehicle currently resides in the United Kingdom.
The Fiesta mk 1 was produced in the United Kingdom from 1976 at the Ford facility in Dagenham, Essex. This example, a three-door hatchback, was registered in August 1982, with a 1117cc petrol engine - though now somewhat souped-up with a larger 1988cc engine. Nice car.
Mk2 Ford Granada estate. The mark 2 was under production between 1977 and 1985 in Cologne, Germany. This example has a 2.8L V6 petrol engine.
What a great car! Immediately after World War Two, there was a serious lack in cheap and reliable vehicles. The Ford Popular aimed to fill this gap, and when launched in 1953 was Britain's cheapest car. The name 'Popular' had previously been applied to the 1930s Ford model Y, and there is some visual similarity between these models. Production of the Ford Popular 103E lasted until 1959, when it was replaced by the more modernistic looking Popular 100E.
